#MysteriousSpread - Epic Battle Fantasy 4

Epic Battle Fantasy 4 is an adventure-RPG made by Matt Roszak. The Epic Battle Fantasy is a series with its roots in flash games and was formally published on Steam in 2014. The specific RPG genre EBF4 aspires to is the format of a JRPG, as it follows many of the predefined tropes of a JRPG like Anime-style characters and battle not being helded in the over world.

The Story of EB4 starts off from the last game EBF3. At the end of EBF3 you have just defeat a world destroying demon called Akron because of this the protagonists Matt, Natalie and Lance from EBF3 are now going around looting everything in sight as they believe that as they saved the world they have the right to everything in the world. he story starts off with you playing as the character Anna a ranger from Greenwood discovering the Greenwood Sacred Jewel has been stolen, remembering a local legend of terrible things happening if the jewel ends up in the wrong hands she heads off to find the Jewel straight away hunting for the suspects on her mind Matt, Natalie and Lance. She encounters each of them individually, defeating them before questioning them about the Greenwood Jewel. She discovers that none of them has touched the Greenwood Jewel and Lance,Matt and Natalie join Ann to investigate whether the other Sacred Jewels have been stolen. So Anna and the group heads off to Whitefall to check on the gem. Along the way they encountered a mysterious glowing white cat that started attacking them, barely surviving the encounter they enter Winterfall to find out their gem was stolen. Here they learn of the legend of the Godcat which states when the 3 Sacred Jewels are brought together Godcat will be revived and remake the world to bring cats back as the dominate species and kill everything else. Learning this the group now hurries to find the Last gem before its stolen, along the way the group is attacked by a Dark Godcat but before the Dark Godcat land the final blow it fades away. Arriving at Goldbrick they see the gem stolen by cats right in front of their eye sand give chase, unfortunately the cats are able to revive the Godcats and a battle happens between the group and the Godcats. After defeating the Godcats the Godcats seeing the determination of Humans decides to leave Earth to make a new world.

EBF4 is based on a turn based battle system. What makes EBF4 different is how each character can be customised and looks different with each piece of gear equipped to them, with their gear reflecting their role in the team. Ann is the buff support, Natalie the support DPS, Matt the warrior tank and Lance the all rounder. You can have 3 players out at a time with the 4th being a backup character. The gear in this game is very important changing the characters appearance and giving the character buffs and resistance to various debuffs and elements, with gear being found in the Overworld by finding them in chest or by completing puzzles. The equipment can be upgraded to give them higher resistances of buffs, more damage or additional skills.

Each character has a wide range of skills unique to the player, with certain skills being able to learned by multiple different characters butt can only be learnt by one character, allowing each character to be customised even more.
