#MobileSpread - Yume100

夢王国と眠れる100人の王子様  read as 'Yume Oukuko to Nemure Hyakuin no Ouji-Sama'  (Yume 100) is a Mobile Puzzle RPG game developed by Gcrest.  With an otome feel such as 'Mystic Messenger) The game have several server since the Japanese server opened in 2015. These servers include Hong kong, Thailand, China and the latest addition Indonesia. Since Bahasa Indonesia uses the alphabet there had been several miss-translation in the way the prince (characters) are saying. The player is called a princess.


You are a princess who came to the dream world where the creatures who steals dream called 'yumeikui' are making the prince sleep! your task is to wake them by battling the "Yumekui"with the default prince Avi plus two others and a starter character of your choice.

Okay enough of the game introduction! time to get into the game! Excited Princess? Hold on trailer time!!

Here's an example of the battle play where the screen can be divided into the three parts; the battle, the puzzle and the characters. On top of the battle is the number of items drop, the coin / money you earn after defeating the monster called 'yumekui', the number of battle in the stage (1/5) and the menu (in green background). The puzzle is called beads where you connect three of the same colors. There is a relation between the puzzle itself and the battle since you need to connect the same color as the prince to deal more damage.

The team that I'm using is consisted of yellow, purple and a green friend. So I need to connect mostly yellow and purple beads to deal more damage. The combo can also help to deal more damage. To solve this problem the characters have leader skill and skills that ranges from changing beads color, increasing HP, defense or attack and to change color plus attach healing abilities. Between the battle scene and the puzzle is the HP (once it hits 0 game over).  There is a number beside the yumekui; this shows how many more turn before it will attack the characters.

 This is the team screen, you can remove the information such as total recovery, total HP and total attack power for each element to view the character's full-body.  Once the experience bar is full you will level!!. By increasing you level the maximum cost of you team will increase. The cost of the character depends on the rarity of the prince. If I'm right for the lower rarity (one star) the cost is 8 while for the highest rarity  (6 star) the cost is 22.

 On top of you it you can see other features such as coins (use to evolve), shards beside the coin use to exchange prince (once it reached 400 for the five star or rarest), under the coin you can see the diamond that is use to summon. For the summon you need at least five diamonds for a summon; fifty diamonds for a set. If you roll a set you can get a free character and a guarantee four star or above. The middle one is the level while the two bars beside it is the experience (you have earned) and the Stamina (energy).


Here comes the unique selling point of this game. The evolution system. In the photo below you can see there is two side; sun (left) and moon (right). The points for the evolution comes from the story route (four or five chapters). I will explain further about the sun and moon route soon. You need to collect the evolution materials and max level your character before doing evolution. 

 So below here there is story with this character. In the story mode you can remove the frame to see the character and the background. The picture beside it is the choices that will add the point for sun or moon evolution. The difference between the two routes is not only the stats for attack, defense and recovery but also how the character will look just like in the game I reviewed before. Since the server that most people play in is the Japanese server, there is a wiki that will tell you which answer you need to choose to get the points you want. Once you evolve a character you won't be able to revert it back. So be careful when choosing route girls and ladies!

Here's a sample of the route choices from the wiki for you to choose for one of the characters. As you can see the choice starts from chapter 2. The first chapter of the story is the player's first meeting with a specific character so nothing much happens. The last or second last chapter have the biggest points for the evolution because this can change your route if you accidentally choose the wrong one.

 You can get a special image of the character after finishing all the story of the evolved version.  The last image is different for each route. The first image in here is the sun route while the second one is the moon route.

Just like most Japanese mobile games, this game have a lot of collaboration with other manga or anime. Since this game is targeted for girls, the collaboration are mostly related with what girls likes. Earlier this year Yume100 have a collaboration with the manga or anime called 'Kuroshitsuji' or in English Black Butler; specifically the Atlantic arc or zombie ship arc.
